Youth & Family Ministry at Clairemont Lutheran

Suppers at the Beach.  During the summer months, the congregation gathers at DeAnza Cove on Mission Bay for a weekly potluck meal and bonfire.  Everyone is invited and welcome to attend Suppers at the Beach on Wednesday evenings.

Children's Ministry.  Twice yearly, children and their families are invited to afternoon gatherings, the Advent Adventure and Easter Celebration in December and the Spring.  Children are also encouraged to participate in the Alleluia Choir and Sunday School.  Children's ministry is integrated into many of the ministries of Clairemont Lutheran Church as the youngest members of our congregational family are welcome to participate fully in the life of our congregation.

Junior High Youth Group.  In collaboration with our Confirmation program, the Junior High Youth gather monthly for activities in fellowship, worship and service.  In the past, our Junior High Youth have held lock-ins, bowling and roller skating nights, regional middle school gatherings and more.  These days, Junior High Youth have been gathering monthly for activities at Clairemont Lutheran Church.

Senior High Youth Group.  Senior High Youth gather weekly on Sunday afternoons in our Youth Room at Clairemont Lutheran Church.  Additionally, Senior High Youth attends regional and national youth gatherings as well as plans annual trips of their own.  Senior High Youth is involved in many social gatherings including days at the beach, theme parks and baseball games.  Senior High Youth are very active in many areas of ministry at Clairemont Lutheran Church.
